My belief in the importance of education is a deep-seated one.  In addition to offering private instruction,  I volunteer my services at Evanston Township High School,  Chicago's No Child Left Behind after school programs,   and  “Literacy for America”- an adult literacy program assisting  adult students in reading and math in preparation for taking the GED.

  My wife and I have three children ranging from high school to elementary school and I spend a great deal of time coaching them as well.

  I view success in   educational experiences as the foundation for success in business and in life.  To that end, I’m dedicated to contributing in any way I can to the success of my students.

My approach includes:     

·        Being fully prepared  with an appropriate lesson and any supplemental learning materials needed

·        Recognizing and building on successes to increase students’ self esteem and academic performance

·        Working in concert with teachers, counselors, parents and advisors whenever necessary

·        Keeping parents fully informed and involved in students’ progress
